Meet Dr. Wahl

Dr. Wahl

“I love dentistry. I believe in providing thoughtful and artistic dentistry to help my patients gain and preserve optimal oral health.”

I graduated from Tonasket High School in 2004. From there I continued my studies towards my childhood dream of becoming a dentist. I graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle. While attending, I was the recipient of multiple awards and scholarships that recognized my excellence in restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and fixed and removable prosthodontics. I was also selectively chosen for a position in the Regional Initiatives in Dental Education (RIDE) program. This is a specialized program that trained and prepared me to practice in rural locations, such as Tonasket!

Upon graduation, I first practiced in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho in a private dental office where I was first exposed to the technological advancements dentistry has to offer. In 2015, my family and I moved to Colville, WA where I worked at NEWHP Community Dental Clinic for over five years. While practicing dentistry in Colville, I became an affiliate faculty of University of Washington School of Dentistry and was given the opportunity to train current RIDE students to prepare them for practice in rural areas.

I love dentistry. I believe in providing thoughtful and artistic dentistry to help my patients gain and preserve optimal oral health. Dental health education is an important part of my standard of care. I believe all patients deserve honest relationships and exceptional clinical care. I feel my calming demeanor and open communication helps my patients feel connected.

My husband, Brian, is also a graduate of Tonasket High School. We have two wonderfully fun and adventurous boys, Wyatt and Gus. And two English bulldogs, Virgil and Betty. Together we enjoy exploring and foraging the outdoors, traveling, and boating. My personal treasured pastime is being creative in the garden and watching the growth and change throughout the seasons. We love living in the great PNW and have always called it our home.
